Onboarding: Wallet, deposit & first farming
Create your Rabby wallet, pick your deposit route (Hyperliquid direct or via CEX) and start your first farming run. Everything you need to take action.
Step-by-step guide
A crypto wallet is your on-chain identity. Only you control it. For this path we recommend Rabby Wallet, designed for DeFi users: it shows clearly what you're signing, handles multiple networks without hassle, and limits the risk of accidental approvals. MetaMask remains a valid alternative if you're already used to it.
NEVER share your seed phrase. No legitimate support will ask for it. No photos, no cloud, no text file. If you lose it, you lose access to your funds permanently.
Entry into the ecosystem starts with the on-ramp, the moment you turn your euros into assets usable on-chain. Two main routes are available to you.
Our advice: start with route A if Hyperliquid is your priority play, it's the shortest path between your euros and your first farming run. Switch to route B when you want to diversify into other ecosystems.
Fees & timing: SEPA = nearly free but 1-2 business days (the cheapest method). Card = instant but 1.5-3% fees. For a planned deposit, SEPA remains the most cost-effective, regardless of route.
Hyperliquid now includes a direct fiat on-ramp: you deposit in euros (SEPA transfer or card) and receive USDC directly on your Hyperliquid account. It's the simplest option to start.
Tip: you can also fund Hyperliquid by bridging USDC already in your wallet (Arbitrum option in the Deposit menu). Practical if you already have on-chain capital.
If you want to farm several ecosystems in parallel (Ink, MegaETH, Berachain, Monad…) or simply have more flexibility (spot, conversions, P2P), going through a CEX is still relevant. Here's the full flow.
An address or network error = funds permanently lost. The exchange can't recover anything on the blockchain. Always prefer official (project-native) bridges over third-party bridges.
"Not your keys, not your coins": as long as your funds stay on the CEX, you don't really own them. Only leave on the CEX what you'll use short term.
Now that your wallet is set up and you have funds, time to take action. Two scenarios based on your deposit route:
Strategy: 2-3 transactions a week for 3 months beat 50 transactions in a single day. Quantity × Consistency × Diversity = airdrop eligibility score.
