1
Create your wallet (Rabby recommended)

A crypto wallet is your on-chain identity. Only you control it. For this path we recommend Rabby Wallet, designed for DeFi users: it shows clearly what you're signing, handles multiple networks without hassle, and limits the risk of accidental approvals. MetaMask remains a valid alternative if you're already used to it.

1 Go to rabby.io and install the extension for your browser (Chrome, Brave, Edge, Firefox via build).
2 Click "Create New Address" and choose a strong password to unlock the wallet.
3 Rabby gives you a 12-word seed phrase. It's the master key, it lets you recover your wallet on any machine. No one else should see it.
4 Write the seed on paper (or a metal plate) and store it in a safe offline place. Confirm it to finalise the creation.
5 Enable 2FA on every related service (CEX, email) and use a password manager from now on.
Demo Install the Rabby extension from rabby.io (no audio).
Demo Create your Rabby account and back up the seed phrase (no audio).
⚠️

NEVER share your seed phrase. No legitimate support will ask for it. No photos, no cloud, no text file. If you lose it, you lose access to your funds permanently.

2
Choose your deposit route

Entry into the ecosystem starts with the on-ramp, the moment you turn your euros into assets usable on-chain. Two main routes are available to you.

A Recommended route, direct deposit on Hyperliquid (SEPA transfer or card). You deposit in € and receive USDC directly on your Hyperliquid account, with no CEX in between. Faster, fewer steps, lower combined fees. Ideal if Hyperliquid is your priority play.
B Alternative route, via a CEX (Binance, Coinbase, Bybit) then withdraw to your wallet. More flexibility: relevant if you want to farm several ecosystems (Ink, MegaETH, Berachain, Monad…) or hold spot somewhere other than Hyperliquid.
💡

Our advice: start with route A if Hyperliquid is your priority play, it's the shortest path between your euros and your first farming run. Switch to route B when you want to diversify into other ecosystems.

Fees & timing: SEPA = nearly free but 1-2 business days (the cheapest method). Card = instant but 1.5-3% fees. For a planned deposit, SEPA remains the most cost-effective, regardless of route.

3
Route A, direct deposit on Hyperliquid

Hyperliquid now includes a direct fiat on-ramp: you deposit in euros (SEPA transfer or card) and receive USDC directly on your Hyperliquid account. It's the simplest option to start.

1 Go to app.hyperliquid.xyz and connect your Rabby wallet (sign the authentication message, free, just a proof of ownership).
2 Click "Deposit" then choose Bank transfer (SEPA) or Card as you prefer.
3 Complete the KYC from the integrated on-ramp provider (standard process: ID + selfie).
4 Confirm the amount in €. Start with €50-200 to get familiar before sending more.
5 Your USDC arrives automatically on your Hyperliquid account. Off to step 5 for farming.
💡

Tip: you can also fund Hyperliquid by bridging USDC already in your wallet (Arbitrum option in the Deposit menu). Practical if you already have on-chain capital.

4
Route B, via a CEX (Binance, Coinbase, Bybit)

If you want to farm several ecosystems in parallel (Ink, MegaETH, Berachain, Monad…) or simply have more flexibility (spot, conversions, P2P), going through a CEX is still relevant. Here's the full flow.

1 Create an account on Binance (the broadest), Coinbase (EU-regulated, simple) or Bybit (regular signup bonuses). Complete the KYC.
2 Deposit in € (SEPA = ~free / card = 1.5-3%) then buy ETH (for gas + EVM farming) or USDC (to bridge to Hyperliquid or use as a stable).
3 Go to "Withdraw", paste your Rabby address (starts with 0x...) and pick the right network (Arbitrum for HL, Ethereum for mainnet, Base, etc.).
4 Always do a test transfer with a small amount (~€5-10) before the big one.
5 If you're targeting another ecosystem (Ink, MegaETH, Berachain…), use the project's official bridge to move your ETH/USDC from Ethereum/Arbitrum to the target chain.
⚠️

An address or network error = funds permanently lost. The exchange can't recover anything on the blockchain. Always prefer official (project-native) bridges over third-party bridges.

💡

"Not your keys, not your coins": as long as your funds stay on the CEX, you don't really own them. Only leave on the CEX what you'll use short term.

5
First hands-on farming

Now that your wallet is set up and you have funds, time to take action. Two scenarios based on your deposit route:

1 If you're on Hyperliquid (Route A): go to the "Trade" tab, pick a liquid pair (BTC-USD, ETH-USD), open a position with low leverage (2-3x) and a small size, close it after a few minutes. The goal is to generate volume, not predict the market. Repeat across several sessions.
2 If you're targeting a free testnet (Route B + bridge or zero-€ start): add the Monad Testnet or MegaETH Testnet network to Rabby (RPC available in the official docs), use the faucet to get free test tokens, then interact with native dApps (swap, LP, mint NFT, governance).
3 Diversify your interactions on the chosen ecosystem: swap on native DEXes, provide liquidity, bridge between sub-chains, mint NFTs. The richer your on-chain profile, the better you pass anti-Sybil filters.
4 Be consistent. Come back 2-3 times a week for a handful of transactions. Consistency is a key eligibility criterion, a wallet active over 3 months beats a wallet doing 50 tx in a single day.
🎯

Strategy: 2-3 transactions a week for 3 months beat 50 transactions in a single day. Quantity × Consistency × Diversity = airdrop eligibility score.
